Warrnambool Whale Watching

Warrnambool whale watching is great.

Warrnambool - a small town along the coast of western Victoria, is a popular place for whale watching, just as are the neighbouring Port Fairy and Portland.

At logans Beach in Warrnambool is a whale watching platform, where you can watch passing whales for free.

Southern Right Whales migrate to the area from south in May and June, to give birth to their calves, and Logans Beach happens to be one of the places where they return each year.

Others that you may see other times of the year are
Blue Whales, Sperm Whales and Dwarf Minke Whales.

Most of watching is done from the shore.

But nowadays you can also take a boat tour out, or even a flight to watch the whales from the air.
