Pink river dolphin, aka Amazon river dolphin or Boto, is one of the few
kinds of
dolphins in the world that does not inhabit salty marine
ocean
waters.
Instead, it has adapted to fresh water habitat in inland
rivers.
It is found in the Amazon river basin far inland from the salty
ocean waters that are inhabited by most other dolphins in the
world.
