Spectacled Porpoise

Spectacled Porpoise Phocoena dioptrica is a rare species considered threatened.

It is only found in southern oceans, along the coasts of Antarctica, South America, southern Australia and New Zealand.

It is known for its ring around eyes.

It has also got white and black markings, no beak and a large dorsal fin.

It is about two meters long and weighs up to 80kg.





It often lives in pods, and it eats octupus, fish and squid, like other dolphins.
