Chilean Dolphin

"Not much is known about Chilean dolphin.."





Chilean Dolphin
is a small, 1.7 meters long dolphin, which is only found along the southern coast of Chile.


It has also been known as the black dolphin or tunina.

It is, however, not black but grey with a white underside.

It has got a blunt head and small fin and flippers.

It likes shallow waters and river mouths.

Not much is known about this dolphin, which is endemic to Chile.
